Two of our schools hosted BYOD sessions during their PTA open house events this week.

(CMS Teacher Crystal Hardison)

Clayton Middle School hosted a BYOD session during it's first Eagle Academy night. Teacher Crystal Hardison shared information about the program and how she is using it to benefit her students.

Later this week, Powhatan Elementary also hosted a BYOD session for parents. Teacher Kim Ellison let her students do the talking as they shared with their parents digital assignments and how they were using devices in the classroom.

Both schools did an excellent job and we are excited to see the positive support of parents and family. If you would like a member of the Digital Learning Team to support your school BYOD plans or open house night, please do not hesitate to contact us.  We are also planning our District BYOD Parent Night on March 13th at Selma Elementary School Auditorium from 6-7:15pm and would love to see you or other interested staff members there!
