PBS is known for their awesome educational programming and resources for children of all ages. Recently, they launched a new FREE service for educators called PBS LearningMedia.  It is a catalog of media resources for every subject and grade level from K-12.

To get started, visit: http://unctv.pbslearningmedia.org

At the top of the homepage, you will see a message to register after a certain number of pageviews. Click on the link to register for your free account.

Follow the process to register and then you will be taken back to the homepage. At the bottom of the homepage are filters to view media specifically for a grade or subject area.

I'm going to look for math media resources.

I can see that there are over 1700 media clips for math, I can continue to filter by grade level and topic using the filters on the left hand side of the page.

I found a clip on integers that I want to use.  I can leave this media pulled up on the website or I can download the clip to my flash drive for later use. I can also see related media clips on that subject.  I love how relevant and entertaining the media clips are.

Literally, there are thousands of resources available for you to explore:

I hope you find some new media resources for your classroom!
