This week we are sharing a great web tool to quickly edit and enhance photos. Hopefully this tool will be useful as you edit pictures and projects from this year for next year or for graduation celebrations.

To get started, go to: http://www.picmonkey.com/

Click on the edit button to get started (no registration required!) and upload a picture to edit.

Once your photo is uploaded, use the tool bar on the left to edit your picture. To start with, I am going to edit the colors on this picture to tone down my skin redness.

Next, I'm going to use the lipstick icon to touch-up my photo. Please note that the tools with a crown symbol are not free. My teeth look better already:)

You can use the butterfly icon to add shapes and stickers to your photos. You can change the color, size, and transparency of any shape/sticker.

Pic Monkey has a great variety of frames to transform your images. I like this Polaroid frame, note that some frames have filters you can adjust as well.

Finally, you can add text to your photos as well. Once you are happy with your finished product, just click the save icon at the top of the screen.

My photo before and after a quick edit.

I hope you try out Pic Monkey over the summer and with your students next year!

Please note, this is the last weekly web tool post for 2014-2015. We look forward to coming back in August refreshed with new ideas and tools to help you. Have a great summer!
