Skillet Tacos
These Skillet Tacos are a quick and tasty way to make dinner. Put seasoned ground beef, black beans, corn, and tomatoes inside them, and then melt cheddar cheese on top. Great for a meal with the family!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 small taco shells
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh cilantro for garnish
- Sour cream and salsa for serving
Instructions:
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled
Drain any excess fat
Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet
Cook for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender
Stir in the taco seasoning, black beans, corn kernels, and diced tomatoes
Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Warm the taco shells in the oven according to package instructions
Fill each taco shell with the beef mixture and top with shredded cheddar cheese
Garnish with chopped fresh cilantro and serve with sour cream and salsa
