Sweet and Tangy BBQ Tofu Skewers
A delicious vegan BBQ recipe with tofu skewers glazed in a BBQ sauce that is both sweet and sour. Great for people who like to grill and people who like plant-based foods.
Ingredients:
- 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Wooden skewers, soaked in water
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together BBQ sauce, soy sauce, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper
Thread the tofu cubes onto the soaked wooden skewers
Brush the tofu skewers generously with the BBQ sauce mixture, ensuring they are well-coated
